Peak oil isn’t in the news nowadays. You have to search for it. I worked in Saudi Arabia and was skeptical when they said they couldn’t pump more oil. I figured it was mismanagement of equipment and resources. Their oil is so ‘sweet’ they pump it straight from the ground into combustion turbines to make power. After a little studying, and stumbling upon www.ourfiniteworld.com, I now believe peak oil is upon us. Another quick search reveals that Saudi Arabia is building the world’s largest solar thermal plant and huge solar panel farms (look it up). If their oil was plentiful, they wouldn’t be investing in solar. Oil runs out, they have plenty of high quality sunshine. Makes sense.
How does that impact the USA and their march to Net Zero? Well, it’s easier to use fear of extinction to motivate people and get the bonus of greenies on board for votes than to tell everyone that we’re in a pickle and need to come up with other sources of energy, quick.
We really, really want China to use their slave labor to produce solar products and batteries as cheaply as possible for all the world, as quickly as possible, because all the world is in a similar pickle. So, the Democrats are talking out of both sides of their mouths for votes and the Republicans are supporting the lobbyists of the oil producing companies to keep their campaigns funded, or their too optimistic about the future of petroleum and petroleum based energy. Or maybe, just maybe, it’s a Uni-party and they intentionally pick sides and divide the country and feed us pablum to keep us from focusing on the control of our country by ‘the cabal’.
Logically it appears that we need to save natural gas to make ammonia-based fertilizers to keep food on our tables, for the foreseeable future, and turn to renewable energy and nuclear energy (and the hydrogen that can be made from it) for the future of energy. Nuclear in the form of safe designs, like X-energy’s pebble bed reactor that can be placed near populations and is a failsafe design that eliminates the hazard of dangerous radioactive material releases. The energy can be used to make hydrogen from hydrolysis or the many other experimental methods. The energy can also be used to make hilltop water reservoirs that store water at night (pumped up from lakes/rivers) and is released during peak need during the day, e.g., Raccoon Mountain by the TVA in Tennessee.
The future is bright and I don’t understand why the dystopian view here in the United States. We need leaders that support and share the bright future we can have. It’s going to be painful since we procrastinated, as a nation, to get away from petroleum products, but now is the time.
Unfortunately, it appears that ‘the cabal’ wants to create a crisis so they can take more of our freedoms away. Don’t let them scare you. God is in charge, not them. Fear God, not man. Man can only destroy your body and possessions; God can send your soul to Hades for eternity.
Fear not, everyone! The future is bright. Don’t believe the grumblers and the naysayers. The USA and people in it will overcome the adversities before us and we can provide our children a bright future, if you gain knowledge about what’s occurring and know that THEY, whoever they are, DO fear the free and libertarian individuals that have a “Fear not!” and “Can do!” attitude. Be strong; be brave; be a humble and courageous Patriot!
